Foodholics!

Greetings everyone!

If you love chocolates and love them more in the form of Milkshakes then we’ve got just the right thing for you! Milkshake Factory, from KL will be one of the vendors at CommFest 2011! So now instead of travelling through the jam to get your Milkshake from KL, for ONE day only, you can get it at Taylor’s Lakeside Campus! Such a yummy treat ain’t it? :D

Other than Milkshakes, sink your teeth into delicious kebas and then add on a sweet sensation to your taste buds with ice cream that will be sold by Ala Turka Ice Cream. If you love Turkish food or if you've never had them, then this would the perfect opportunity for you to try it out!

Known for their delicious and unique pasta sauces, Pitalia Pasta brings a twist to your usual pasta dishes. Visit their booth at CommFest 2011 and have them satisfy your taste buds with their pasta. Not only that, they will also be having delicious creamy pudding at their booth for you!

Join in the FUN at CommFest 2011

Greetings everyone!

What's happening on 11.11.11?

Find out now! :D

In the morning:

Activity: Launch of CommFest 2011

Time: 10.00 am.

Venue: Lecture Theatre 12, Taylor's Lakeside Campus.

Be entertained by Zlwin Chew and No Noise Percussion at the launch.

Zlwin Chew is a magician based in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. His interest in magic started off during the early childhood days when his father used to bring his family for magic shows. However, he only got serious in learning the Art of Magic when he saw his friend performing some close-up magic to him many years ago. Since then he was determined to learn and taught himself magic from a few sources. It was only the beginning. Zlwin has met and performed to some of the country's most reknown people. Some of them include:
  • The 12th King of Malaysia, Sultan of Perlis, Raja Syed Sirajuddin ibni Syed Putra Jamalullail.
  • Former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun. Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad.

No Noise Percussion is a percussion group based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, that was formed in late 2007. Inspired by the group like Stomp Out Loud, Blue Man Group, and Wadaiko Yamato, NO NOISE PERCUSSION came up with their own style of performance. The name NO NOISE PERCUSSION itself represents the concept of applying the percussion playing technique using objects that are made for non-musical purposed, not even for producing sounds. Like household materials, water pipes, car exhaust, cones and many more. They also use recycled objects and modify them to support their performance.
